Welcome to Elite Circuit Repairs. Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before using our repair services. By accessing and utilizing our services, you agree to abide by the terms set forth below. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our services.
1. Services Offered
We provide repair services for a variety of electronics, including but not limited to smartphones, laptops, tablets, and other consumer electronics. Our services include diagnostic, repair, and replacement of parts (subject to availability).
2. Appointments and Estimates
Appointments: All repair services must be scheduled in advance, based on availability. We recommend making an appointment for timely service.
Estimates: A preliminary estimate may be provided based on a brief description of the issue. However, an accurate estimate will be given after an in-person diagnosis of the device.
Cost of Services: All repairs are subject to a fee based on the parts required and the labour time involved. Final pricing will be confirmed after the device has been diagnosed. Any additional costs will be communicated and require customer approval before proceeding.
3. Customer Responsibilities
Device Information: Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their device’s symptoms and issues. Failure to disclose prior damage or modifications may affect repair outcomes.
Data Backup: We strongly recommend that customers back up their data before bringing in devices for repair. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, we cannot be held responsible for any data loss, corruption, or theft during the repair process.
Password and Lock Codes: Customers should provide any necessary passwords or unlock codes required to complete repairs (e.g., phone unlock codes, account logins). If this is not provided, we may be unable to perform certain services.
4. Repair Process and Timeframe
Repair Time: Repair times may vary depending on the complexity of the issue and availability of parts. We will give you an estimated timeframe and will inform you of any significant delays.
Parts Availability: We will inform you if any required parts are out of stock or if we need to source them from third-party suppliers. Delivery times may vary.
Repair Completion: Upon completion of the repair, you will be notified, and you must collect your device within 28 days. If uncollected beyond this period, storage fees may apply, and we reserve the right to dispose of uncollected devices.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
Warranty on Repairs: We provide a limited warranty on repairs, which covers parts and labour for a period of 90 days from the completion date. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, misuse, or issues arising from third-party software.
No Warranty on Data: We do not offer any warranty or guarantee on data stored on devices. It is the customer’s responsibility to back up data before repair.
Void Warranty: Any damage caused by customer mishandling, water damage, or tampering with the device during or after repair will void the warranty.
6. Payment Terms
Payment Method: Payment is due upon completion of the repair, and we accept various payment methods, including cash, cards, and other forms of electronic payment.
Charges: If you choose not to proceed with the repair after an estimate is provided, you may be charged a diagnostic fee. This fee will be communicated to you before diagnosis begins.
Refunds: Once repair work has commenced, no refunds will be issued. If the device is not repairable, you may be charged for diagnostic fee.
7. Limitations of Liability
Liability for Damages: While we make every effort to repair your device to the highest standard, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the repaired device.
Device Damage: If damage occurs to the device during the repair process that is outside of our control (e.g., pre-existing issues, component failure), we will notify you immediately and work with you to resolve the situation.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Confidentiality: We respect your privacy. Any personal information or data shared with us will not be sold or shared with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
Data Storage: We take reasonable steps to protect your device’s data, but we are not liable for any loss or theft of data stored on your device during the repair process.
9. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer for the following reasons:
Device is beyond reasonable repair.
Unreasonable demands or behaviour from the customer.
Failure to provide required access or necessary information for the repair.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elite Circuit Repair and its employees from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of our services, including but not limited to the loss or damage of data, device, or property.
12. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
We may update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes, and the updated version will be posted in our store or on our website.
